Sgarbossa Antonio

Antonio Sgarbossa was born in Fontanaviva (PD) on 18 July 1945. He began to become familiar with oil color at a very young age, when his parents sent him to learn the profession of decorator of ceramic plates in an artisan workshop. In 1971, work reasons led him to move to Neuchatel in Switzerland for a year, where he came into contact with Swiss cultural environments, and was able to start a profitable experience of copying from life artistic nudes. His first confrontation with the public was in 1976 when he made his debut with the solo exhibition at the “Il Fiore” gallery in Bassano del Grappa. In 1977 he opened a ceramics workshop in Fontaniva, maturing sculpture and modeling. Since the nineties his artistic career has been strengthened and materialized with fairs such as in 1995/96 Vicenza fair "Il Fiore" Gallery in Bassano del Grappa, 1998 Padua fair "Il Tempo" Gallery Conselve PD, from 1999 to 2003 Rotini Galleri: Fairs of Padua / Bari / Pordenone / Reggio Emilia / Forte dei Marmi, 2006 Art Fair Vicenza with Falpa Promotion Art.
