Mangione Davide

Davide Mangione works in the fields of painting, illustration, graphics, poetry and music. He first taught as a subject expert in the teaching of painting atAcademy of Fine Arts of Bari and later as an art teacher at secondary school. Participate in the project TalkingBenches – with the support of the Bari culture department and the Bari Academy of Fine Arts – for urban redevelopment with one of its works street art on the Lungomare Nazario Sauro in Bari. He is the author of Pink bench created for the association A room for a smile Odv, donated as a symbol of solidarity and hope to the Municipality of Gravina. He is also the author of the mural Madonna of the star, a public work created in the Municipality of Gravina in Puglia for the project Street Art -The Invisible City, financed by the Puglia Region. He organizes numerous contemporary art exhibitions with catalogs and publications in specialized magazines and takes care of the illustrations of novels, short stories, collections of poems and fairy tales by Italian and foreign authors. Publish with the publishing house Il grillo publisher, the collection of poems The shadow of dreams; the illustrated book The Death of the Water Lilies freely inspired by Serge Latouche's theory of degrowth, presented at the festival of Hundred Stairs of Power; the illustrated book Fairy Tales Told to Tell with the support of MiBAC and SIAE.
