Bitetti Mirella

Mirella Bitetti was born in Ginosa (TA). After the humanities studies he achieves the artistic maturity. He begins his experiences through experimentation and research in materials and techniques. He sets up solo and group exhibitions with critical and public success. In the work of M. Bitetti there is the full sense of a femininity that wraps itself in the dilated value of seduction. The body is not an object that exhibits itself to the gaze, but it is the protagonist of the event as it looks at the user himself, inducing him to enter the universe of thoughts that pulsate in the intellectuality and feminine sensitivity. We realize that these protagonists judge us from a wisely constructed twilight with clear cuts of light from a monochrome that accepts only the sudden ignition of red that smells of passion of transgression. In M. Bitetti's painting there is a prefigured sign of a photographic nature which imposes itself as an inescapable guide to figural expressions and conditions their pictorial values. The image is purposely exasperated as it is obliged to assume the value of a model not to be canceled in the general settings of the painting and not even in the anatomical details of the female figure who plays the leading role in an excellent black and white. He currently lives and works in Ginosa.
