Ido Erani was born in Forlì in 1945 where he still lives and works for over fifty years. Attend the Artistic high school of his hometown and then moved to MilanBrera Academy of Fine Arts.
It was the 1970s, a period in which the city was the fulcrum of important artistic and avant-garde movements at a national level. This experience allows him to refine his art to the point of obtaining important recognition. He participates in numerous national exhibitions, winning prestigious awards, and holds various solo exhibitions abroad, mainly in the United States.
The most significant stage of his artistic career is represented by his long stay in Las Vegas, about ten years, during which he reached the highest levels of creative expression. Makes friends with Roy Linchtenstein and hangs out with the greatest exponent of the Pop art, Andy Warhol. He refines his own painting techniques, methods of representation and use of color by observing everything that gravitates around him without remaining contaminated by the trend of the moment, but capturing inspiration and further creative energy.
Thanks to his innate talent and love for art, critics recognize and appreciate him on an international level; some of his works are exhibited at the museum Rockefeller and to the museum Guggenheim from New York. He frequently returns to Italy to his beloved Romagna, keeping the relationship with his origins alive and consolidated.
