It's called "Human Contrasts. Intellectual social responsibility - A perspective in art ”the exhibition set up at the United Nations gallery and entirely dedicated to human rights. The event was organized on the occasion of the second anniversary of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), a global initiative launched by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at a conference held in New York in November 2010. The exhibition was sponsored from the Puglia Center of America and from the Permanent Representation of Honduras to the United Nations. The introduction was made by Maestro Luciano Lamonarca, President of the Puglia Center of America. The speakers were: Ramu Damodaran, Head of the United Nations Academic Impact, Ambassador Marco A. Suazo, Deputy Permanent Representative of Honduras to the United Nations, and Antonio Lagioia, Artistic Director of the Galleria Sangiorgio. Conti, Di Tommaso, D'Orsi, Guadalupi and Puleo have created works inspired by the fundamental principles of the UN: the right to peace, freedom of speech, the fight against poverty, the rights of the child, sustainable development.
