The vernissage will take place on Saturday 4 May. Starting from 6.30 pm, in the presence of the artist and director Antonio Palumbo, the exhibition will be revealed to interested and curious people, and will remain open until June 8th.
The flowers: allegory of nature and the feminine
The flower, a natural element often called into question for its fleeting nature, is Stefania Hepeisen's favorite subject, but with her it becomes synonymous with both delicacy and strength. The flower becomes a harbinger of a message of grace and grandeur, it becomes an allegory of all nature.
The artist also glimpses the feminine in the floral element, therefore the shy and the cheeky.
“A flower can be everything” declared Stefania Hepeisen, exalting coherence in contradiction.
The value of nuances
There are colored petals with indefinable shades, which is why Hepeisen chooses to approach art.
After eighteen years spent studying the nuances of the skin as a dermatologist, with a careful and scrupulous look at the color and nuances of the lesions, she finds her way to celebrate the various forms of color. With art he sublimates the value of subjectivity in the union between color and light, and therefore of nuance.
Art as a personal exodus
Hepeisen conceives life as a path towards freedom, therefore as a personal exodus which, in her case, led her to the promised land of painting.
Her rigorous method combined with her love for beauty led her to find her true freedom.
